A week ago I put up a poll asking a simple question: “What is your favorite iPhone feature?”
Well the results are in and Safari is the clear winner - by a landslide. Nearly a third of the poll responses were made in favor of Safari. Funny, I get more complaints about this feature than nearly any other on the iPhone. But clearly, the complaints come from people who still love Safari. E-mail was a distant second with about half the votes. The iPod came in third and the YouTube was dead last.

This is not a product you’re likely to see reviewed anywhere else. That’s because the company that makes this case is sort of a local San Francisco secret.
The owner is ex-military. After serving, he went to art school. The result was a strong influence stemming from both experiences that created one of the coolest (and strangest) stores I’ve ever seen. And in this store, that carries everything from military-spec survival gear to toy robots, there is an iPhone case. And it’s one of the toughest and coolest, I’ve ever seen.
It’s called the TAD Gear iCOMM Pouch. It perfectly fits the iPhone.

According to an article by Crayton Harrison of Bloomberg, AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson has admitted a 3G iPhone is coming in 08.
There’s no information on exact shipping dates, features or prices. Calls to Apple and AT&T requesting more information went un-returned.
This confirms rumors we’ve been hearing from the AT&T sources we have that a 3G phone is coming soon.
My guess is that this was not something Apple’s Steve Jobs wanted to have the world know right now. Some folks might put off buying a 2G phone.
Of course if you don’t live in an area AT&T serves with 3G it won’t matter.

In a somewhat surprising decision the lower court in Hamburg, Germany reversed the preliminary injunction issued against T-Mobile and said T-Mobile can continue to sell the iPhone only with the two year contract and with the SIM-lock. So, T-Mobile will stop the sales of the 999 Euro model without Sim-lock and without contract. The competitor Vodaphone is meanwhile licking their wounds, or as the lawyers would say, contemplating an appeal. So, if you want a contract-free and SIM-free iPhone you have to head to France…..
